Q. Should I move my own pool table?
A. No! A common mistake is moving pool tables without taking them apart, which can result in broken slate, legs, and aprons. a pool table should always be taken apart.
Q. Why should I buy a slate table?
A. A slate pool table is the only surface you can level to a true flat play field. You can get 3/4" slate, but 1" or thicker is ideal.
Q. Why do price ranges vary on pool tables?
A. Price of pool tables are based on materials used, the construction, and the amount of detail.
Q. What does a recover consist of?
A. A recover consist of replacing the old felt with new felt (bed and rails). Re-leveling and repairs are additional.
Q. How many colors of felt are available?
A. There are about thirty different colors of standard felt to choose from. There are upgrades available.
Q. How big is a regulation pool table?
A. A regulation pool table is twice as long as it is wide. To find this measurement, measure from point to point on the cushions going the width (44) and the length being (88) assuming it's an 8' table. See room size chart for reference.
Q. What is the length of a standard size cue?
A. Approximately 57" short cues are available in sizes 24" to 52".
Q. How do I take care of my cloth?
A. Brush from one end to the other starting from the head and going in the same direction as you break. Also, vacuum occasionally with attachments only. We recommend you vacuum your table, however, please do not use any thing with a motorized brush or spinning attachment. This will prematurely wear down the felt on your table. Air suction is the preferred method of cleaning.
Q. Do I get a warranty with my new pool table?
A. Yes! All our new pool tables come with a manufacturers limited lifetime warranty.
